George,

please try to reproduce your setup using sfcb 1.3.16. From my
experience, sfcb 1.4.4 still has some issues.

Can you enumerate CIM_ComputerSystem using wbemcli (i.e. direct
connection to sfcb) ?

Please check the [cim] section of /etc/openwsman/openwsman.conf
(openwsman configuration file).

Check cim_client_frontend (should be XML for now) and port.
Also make sure that the credentials used to connect to Openwsman also
work for a connection to sfcb.

Re: CIMOM server not connected

George Varghese
Hi,

I didn't try out old sfcb version. I trying to install wbemcli into my pc.

I think issue may be caused on by configuration level.

in openwsman config file,cim_client_frontend is xml and port is 5989, I have changed it to 5988.

then try it to connect, but displayed error message is "SSL connect error".

Please note that while I configured opewsman by disabling PAM authentication.

Please help me,

Regards,
George

This means you're connecting via http (no SSL), so you must also set
"ssl = no" in /etc/openwsman/openwsman.conf

As documented in the openwsman.conf comments:
Set ssl=yes and port=5989

Via the -S / --ssl command line argument.
The port numbers are defined in the [server] section of
openwsman.conf. 'port' (defaults to 5985) is for http, 'ssl_port'
(defaults to 5986) for https.
