How to build OpenWSMan client for Windows?

Vin Bhalerao

We are trying to get a build of OpenWSMan client that can run on Windows. (We only need the client for now.) Has anyone done that or at least knows the steps needed to do that?

Here is what we have done so far:

  • upgraded the OpenWSManLib.sln to Visual Studio 2012 and gotten it to build with minor changes to the code.
  • tried various ideas to build a OpenWSMan client .jar for Windows using SWIG, but unsuccessful so far. We are unclear as to the steps needed to do this.

We are relatively new to the world of OpenWSMan as well as Java bindings, so any help is appreciated. In case SWIG is not the right tool to use, can someone suggest an alternative way?

Thanks,

Vin,

please share your code changes with us so others can profit from this.

The SWIG documentation has a section about SWIG+Java on Windows
http://www.swig.org/Doc1.3/Java.html#building_windows

You might want to reach out to the swig-users mailing list at
